J’ai récemment vu le film adapté du Cercle Littéraires des Amateurs d’Épluchures de Patates de Annie Brown et Mary Ann Schaffer, dont j’avais beaucoup apprécié la lecture il y quelques années. Bien que le film et le livre ne soient peut être pas des chefs-d’oeuvre, ils se révèlent être des divertissements de qualité. J’ai particulièrement aimé les toilettes de Juliet dans le film, les costumes étant probablement ce que je préfère dans les films historiques. Cette sélection s’inspire de ces magnifiques tenues et de l’atmosphère générale du film, j’espère qu’elle vous plaira!
I recently saw the film adapted from Annie Brown’s and Mary Ann Schaffer’s The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, which I had loved reading a few years ago. Both the film and the book might not be masterpieces but they are throughly enjoyable. I particularly loved Juliet’s outfits in the film, the costumes being one of the reasons I like historical movies so much. This selection was inspired by these gorgeous outfits and the film’s overall atmosphere, I hope you’ll find its browsing pleasant!
